Luke in the spotlight

I have searched for years for a chocolate solid tabby (lynx). I thought it would have been faster to breed one myself, because solids are not common, chocolates are not common, and a chocolate solid tabby is even more rare. Let alone from unrelated lines. But then I got a message from the breeder, she may have a chocolate…and yes after checking the photos I could confirm, it was indeed a choco tabby solid! I reserved him immediately, along with his sister: Leia. So Luke and Leia (get it?) were the new members of house Lunar Fields. Both will be helping with our solid cherubim lines.
Dad is a champion and very pretty, but we will have to wait and see how they grow up!

Luke is the last addition to our new male group. As I explained elsewhere on the website, it is not easy to have a male group in a cattery, so we try to match them as kittens. Adding a new male later is almost impossible, so in 2026 we decided to make a new group after our Lewie retired after 7 years of breeding and Yoshi turned out to be infertile. Let’s hope they will be best buddies, so they never have to live as a solo-male like so many of them.
